I am a writer and editor originally from the suburbs of Washington, D.C. but find myself living abroad more often than not. Over the past decade and a half, I’ve been fortunate to call many places home, including Skopje, North Macedonia; Bangkok, Thailand; Hanoi, Vietnam; Nairobi, Kenya; and Estelí, Nicaragua.

Though I’ve written about topics ranging from subvertising to vegan pornography, my passion lies in exploring the complex terrain where ideas of culture and human rights overlap.

I am the author of WEDLOCKED: A Story of Forced Marriage, available for purchase on Amazon. In my current role as a communications professional in the international development sector, I help to develop and execute communications strategies that showcase the impact of donor-funded clean energy projects in developing countries worldwide.
